while the girls added more names to the car, malcolm & ellis dealt with lunch. who needed a fridge when you could just wedge everything into the snow?

Lunchtime + Frozen Lake = BBQ Time!

this is the setting for our frozen lake BBQ. we had a disposable BBQ, bread and some frankfurters that we had bought in Lidl back in Germany! sorted!

Frozen Lake

this was one of the many many frozen lakes in Norway. There were tyre tracks all over the place but we were not going to dare driving on it! Instead the boys decided to venture out on the ice and test how strong it was by jumping on it!

The morning after.....

first morning in norway, temperature has dropped and the car needs defrosted for the first time

stopped for a quick refreshment break once we had crossed the Norway border and tried to decide which town we would stop in!

the weather got pretty dark a couple of times, but it didnt make the bridges look any less spectacular!

Touchdown in Denmark

since we were making good progress we decided to stop in Denmark just to say we had set foot in it! as soon as we got out the car we got battered with hailstones!

Punishment....

Ellis had vito'd meghan so since she was responsible for the sandwich shop ellis got a very very pitiful sandwich for his lunch as punishment! Needless to say he never thought it through but never vito'd her again!
